Apple WWDC 2020 online event today: How to watch the livestream

Apple will host the 31st edition of its WorldWide Developer Conference (WWDC) event today. This year it will be an online event with the keynote speech starting at 10:00pm PT (10:30pm IST). Apple will announce software updates for all its devices at the event. It is also likely that the company may make some hardware announcements as well in today’s event.

At this year’s developer event, Apple is likely to bring iOS 14 for iPhones with new features like new home screen widgets, revamped fitness app and more. Similarly, it may bring a new update to iPadOS for Apple tablets. The software update may have similar features to iOS 14.

For the Apple Watch, it is likely that the WatchOS 7 may bring sleep tracking features. Rumours also suggest a Kid mode coming to the smartwatch. For laptops, there has been a buzz that Apple may switch to its own ARM chipset for MacBook. It is also being said that the company may bring a new iMAC with a 23-inch refreshed display. Other expected launches include an upgraded 4K model of Apple TV with an improved processor, tracking device called Apple AirTags and the company’s first over-the-ear headphones, AirPods Studio.
